IARU Region 3 recommendation

August 2006: IARU Region 3 adopts RSQ signal reporting

The IARU Region 3 conference in Bangalore has also adopted the RSQ signal reporting table for the HF digital modes. The proposal was put by the Wireless Institute of Australia (WIA) and the meeting resolved as follows:

Document 032 Report on RSQ reporting for digital modes below 30 MHz by WIA
The committee took it as recommendation. Addition of "wherever applicable" above 30 MHz was suggested. ARRL supported the recommendation.

Recommendation WG2-5:
It is recommended that RSQ reporting be used for digital modes below 30 MHz.
